With our online assessment, we offer you a time-saving way to quickly and efficiently assess and evaluate complaints about furniture - without the need for an on-site appointment. A trained POS employee guides the end customer through the assessment process via live video, documents all relevant details via the camera of the mobile device and advises on typical product characteristics.

The digital Upholstery Atlas 2025
Developed in cooperation with the Expert Council of the Federal Association of the German Furniture, Kitchen and Furnishing Trade (BVDM) and the Association of the German Furniture Industry (VDM), the Upholstery Atlas has been a reliable benchmark for assessing complaints for years and has established itself as a recognized standard work in the industry.
In the Upholstery Atlas, the most common complaints about upholstered furniture, mattresses, box springs and waterbeds are clearly presented and professionally assessed. The book helps service staff, sales professionals and experts to objectively classify complaints and avoid unnecessary processing costs.
More than 100 typical complaints are systematically dealt with - including topics such as frame, upholstery, covers, leather, mechanics, cleaning and odor. Common issues such as wrinkling, seat mirroring or natural features in the leather are also dealt with in detail.
The content was developed and continuously updated by an interdisciplinary committee of experienced industry experts. Since 2025, the Upholstery Atlas has been fully digitized and available via the POS partner portal - with an intuitive search function and access at any time. An indispensable tool for anyone who wants to assess upholstered furniture professionally.
