Environment and sustainability

Sustainability is not a trend for us, but our daily motivation. The POS Service Group pays consistent attention to resource conservation, CO₂ avoidance and environmentally friendly processes in all areas of the company - from digital damage assessment to our own photovoltaic system. With innovative services, a green vehicle fleet and over 9,500 trees planted, we are actively shaping a more sustainable future - together with our customers, partners and employees.

Repairing instead of throwing away

The most effective contribution to environmental protection starts with the question: Do I really need something new?
POS says: No. Because a well-preserved piece of furniture deserves a second life - through professional repair instead of replacement or disposal. This is exactly where our upholstery service comes in: We preserve what is worth preserving - in a resource-saving, professional manner and directly at the customer's premises. In this way, we not only avoid tons of bulky waste, but also save around 13 million kilograms of CO₂ every year - simply by avoiding new production. Every repair is an active contribution to the circular economy. And it shows: Sustainability begins where you value what already exists.

Online appraisal saves journeys and CO2

Our digital online assessment replaces many trips to customers - and thus avoids thousands of kilometers of travel per year. This saves us around 59,000 kilograms of CO₂ every year. This not only protects the environment, but also enables faster processes for complaints and damage. Every kilometer saved counts - for our customers and for the climate.

Green energy on the roof and on the road

For us, sustainability also means rethinking energy. At our company headquarters, we already rely on electricity from our own power - thanks to a large-scale photovoltaic system on the roof of the head office. Further modules are already being planned to make our work even more self-sufficient and climate-friendly in the future.

At the same time, we are also shifting our mobility towards the future: with a steadily growing fleet of fully electric vehicles and our own charging stations - both on the company premises and at our technicians' homes - every service trip becomes an active contribution to climate protection.

This is how POS combines ecological responsibility with technical innovation - for a sustainable energy and service infrastructure.

Our forest of the future - sustainability that takes root!

We take long-term responsibility with our annual tree planting campaign: together with employees and local forestry authorities, we have already planted over 9,500 trees - and counting. Every single tree stands for our commitment to environmental protection, binds CO₂ and creates new habitat. The POS Future Forest is our living promise for a greener future.
