Burglary protection
for windows and doors - security starts at home
Burglary protection is not a luxury - but an important investment in your security and well-being. Burglaries are particularly frequent in the peak season from October to March. Whether organized gangs or individual offenders: for many, the nightmare begins when they get home - with broken doors, forced windows and ransacked drawers.
In over 80% of cases, burglars gain access to the house via windows or balcony doors. But with the right behavior and professional security technology, many burglaries can be prevented.
Our burglary protection experts from POS will come to you, check windows, skylights, balcony doors and entrance or apartment doors for weak points and advise you individually. We then retrofit your windows and doors with burglar-resistant elements directly on site - quickly, cleanly and without any major conversion work.
We use tested security solutions such as lockable window handles, internal security fittings with mushroom-head locks, sturdy screw-on locks, special strike plates and locking bars as well as additional hinge locks. In this way, we ensure that burglars can no longer simply lever out or open windows and doors.
Whether for prevention or after a burglary attempt: we are there for you quickly throughout Germany - for a secure home and a good feeling.

Useful tips for more burglary protection
Always double-lock doors: Never leave your home without locking the front door with two turns - even if you are away for a short time. This significantly increases resistance to break-in attempts.
Tilted windows are open windows: Never leave windows or balcony doors tilted when you are not at home - this is almost like an invitation for burglars.
Avoid entry aids: Make sure that garbage cans, garden furniture, ladders or climbing aids are not freely accessible - they can otherwise be used as a climbing aid to the balcony or roof.
Install lighting with motion detectors: Burglars avoid light. Make sure entrances, backyards or cellar areas are well lit - preferably with motion detectors that react automatically.
