Wooden furniture
Your on-site repair service
Wooden furniture is an important part of our lives. It creates atmosphere, provides storage space - and is used every day: from kitchen cabinets to dining tables and sideboards. However, intensive use leaves its mark: scratches, burn marks, discoloration, chipped areas, cracks or broken fittings are among the most common types of damage that occur during daily use.
Age-related signs of wear and tear or mishaps when moving house, at parties or due to boisterous pets also often lead to damage: broken edges, stiff pull-outs, damaged hinges or loose locks.

Whether it's repairing scratches in a wooden table, closing cracks or replacing defective drawer runners - we'll get your wooden furniture made of solid wood, real wood or veneer back into top shape.

Professional tips for the care of wooden furniture
Prevent scratches: Use felt glides under decorative objects, vases or on tabletops. Placemats and coasters protect delicate wooden surfaces from micro-scratches.
Clean wood properly: A damp cloth is sufficient for regular cleaning - avoid aggressive household cleaners! Special wood care products help to keep the surface supple and protect the material from drying out.
Avoid direct sunlight: UV radiation can fade or discolor wooden surfaces. If possible, avoid exposing furniture to direct sunlight for long periods or treat it with a UV-protective oil.
Observe the room climate: Wood "works" - strong fluctuations in temperature or humidity lead to stresses and cracks. Ideal: 18-22 °C room temperature and approx. 50 % humidity.
Do not put off minor damage: Small cracks, loose handles or jammed pull-outs should be repaired at an early stage - this will maintain the function and prevent consequential damage.
