Useful tips for wood floor care

Prevent scratches: Use felt glides under furniture and make sure you use clean rollers or a parquet brush when vacuuming.

Avoid moisture: Wooden floors should only be wiped with a damp cloth. Puddles or waterlogging can lead to swelling, cracks or stains.

Gentle cleaning: No aggressive cleaners or microfiber cloths - parquet soaps or pH-neutral cleaning agents are ideal.

Use regular care products: Apply maintenance oils or sealers regularly, depending on the type of floor - this keeps the wood protected and resistant.

Shoes off - especially with pebbles: Street shoes, small pebbles or heel damage are one of the most common causes of scratches in the visible area.

Observe the room climate: Wooden floors like stable conditions. Ideal: 18-22 °C room temperature and approx. 50 % humidity - this prevents joint formation and material tension.
